I have written a book called Earthquake! It received an honorable mention in the 2009 Green Book Festival.
Earthquake! is written for grades 2-4. The reviews seem to indicate older children would like it as well – (Probably because of all the factoids and charts.)
I have sent Earthquake! to both FEMA and USGS for review. Their comments are available on my website, http://www.susanjberger.com/Announcements.html
Earthquake! offer a very simplified explanation of what causes Earthquakes, It covers “Can we predict them?” “How do we prepare for them?” “What to do during an earthquake.” “What happens after a big earthquake? It includes many factoids and charts
Earthquake! was published as an EBook and a POD by Guardian Angel Publishing. (www.guardianangelpublishing.com)
This books is an excellent accompaniment to any Earthquake awareness program.
