The van containing myself, Ron Morris and Joe Person has arrived safely in Birmingham after, well, not really any issues on I-20. It actually surprised us, since we were sure there’d be construction at some point. But we were able to make it in just a little over five hours.
Relatively speaking, Wednesday will be kind of a blah day for teams – Arkansas, Kentucky, Mississippi State and Vanderbilt. But we’ll try to make it interesting. Questions we want to ask each coach:
Bobby Petrino, Arkansas: Did you gain any sort of personality during the offseason?
Rich Brooks, Kentucky: So how much longer before Joker Phillips takes over? C’mon, you know you wanna ride off into retirement.
Dan Mullen, Mississippi State: Who are you exactly?
Bobby Johnson, Vanderbilt: When you’re back home in Columbia, do you prefer the Captain D’s on Blossom, or the Red Lobster right down the road?
(And before we get a bunch of complaints from fans out there wanting more Xs and Os, relax, you’ll get it.)
