Depth chart for opener; State DE talking smack

Axon, the Tampa-area tailback who twice posted to this blog while awaiting word on his fate at USC, has landed at Eastern Michigan.
The release from Eastern Michigan on Thursday was surprisingly frank, addressing Axon’s marijuana arrest in May and detailing the stipulations Axon must follow.
