Gilmore scores TD on defense, runs for one, passes for another on offense. Don't doubt me.

Robster -- Not sure about the end zone paint. It may be that they had not re-painted when Dwayne McClemore, our videographer, shot the video from Legion Field. I know Dwayne said they still had ACC and Big East painted behind each sideline (apparently left over from last year's ppj.com bowl).

Vulcan? When I was in B'ham prior to the Bama game, I thought it was some kind of homage to the Statue of Liberty. I also thought I saw Lady Liverty in front of the Boy Scout headquarters along the interstate. Maybe that was Vulcan, too.

Joe, someone asked on one of the other articles, why do we not have the school names in the endzones? Even some of the Bowl games that were played at NFL fields were painted with schools colors. Can that turf not be repainted?

Joe, I noticed from Dwayne's video that the field is turf. Is it the newer kind the more closely replicates natural grass or is it the older variety of turf that will grab cleats and cause injuries?
