Does the field interview report indicate that the cop called his wife or not?
    Why didn’t you ask?

    Stephen,
The field interview report does not say that the officer called his wife. However, a spokesoman for the Attorney General’s office confirmed that the officer did call his wife to confirm Corning’s identity. We reported it in this story: http://www.thestate.com/local/story/1002279.html?RSS=local
