Chancellor to honor fallen teammate
Well, after a weekend that apparently destroyed our blog program’s chances for a BCS berth or conference title, we’re back.
We’ll rejoin our regularly scheduled blog entries in progress this week, but wanted to pass along that Clemson senior corner Chris Chancellor is slated to wear No. 6 on Saturday against Miami in honor of a fallen former teammate.
Chancellor played at Edison High in Miami alongside Jasper Howard, the University of Connecticut cornerback who died Sunday from stab wounds suffered on campus.
Chancellor normally wears No. 38, but coach Dabo Swinney agreed to allow the switch Monday morning.
It is especially poignant, of course, because the Tigers play at No. 8 Miami at 3:30 p.m. Saturday.
We’ll have more on Chancellor’s homecoming in Tuesday’s paper.

Holy cow! They lost the data from the past 7 weeks? Give ‘em hell, Paul. Probably a bunch of USC grads working there decided to nuke your data after USC lost to Alabama.
