Name this blog
Faithful readers, as of Thursday, this blog will be no more. Well, not really. Actually, the current boring title of the blog will be replaced by one with – hopefully – a little more flair. The bosses would like it to be related to South Carolina sports.
We’ve thrown a few names around in the office, some unacceptable because they contain curse words, some undesirable because they’re taken. (Who’d ever heard of “The Drudge Report”?)
So I thought I’d throw it open to you guys. Whoever picks the winner will receive an amazing award: the knowledge that they named this blog.
Some other rejected ideas:
- Carolina Sports. (I’m worried I might also have to blog about North Carolina, Coastal Carolina, Princess Caroline of Monaco and Caroline Kennedy.)
- Seth’s page. (Hey, it’s not all about the blogger. Plus, I don’t have a very interesting personal life.)
- The Happy Fun-Time USC blog. (Copyright infringement)
- Scott Hood’s blog. (Copyright infringement. Also, already taken.)
- Stalking Darrin Horn. (Too close to reality)
- Tanner Salon. (The baseball staff has registered this one. Or it should have.)
- Snakes, snakes and more snakes! (Actually, this one has promise.)
You all get the idea. Post your suggestions below, or if you’re shy, e-mail them to me. Do it quickly, because by Thursday we’ll have a grand unveiling. OK, not grand; one of the Web guys will just change the name overnight. But still.

I am pleased that you noted “A few” as opposed to starting your sentence with “Few”….did you read in the paper about those 5 divers who were scuba diving off one of the islands in Indonesia and ultimately landed on one that had Komodo Dragons? Kamodo Dragon saliva carry 4 types of venom that can kill a human. Miraculously all 5 were rescued off this island and they had to fend off a Kamodo Dragon by throwing rocks at it. I’m serious.
