Jack - oh Jack... there are more to it...

1. Golden Rule - that who has the Gold makes thy rules
2. Change what you can; Accept what you must and pray for the wisdom to know the difference betwix em.
3. Do on to others as they do you.
4. To the victor goes the spoils.

I for one was not pleased by the left turn; however, it will be good to have lots of free stuff.

Best to you and yours,

Lil' Joe

Brewer:
It takes a big man to apologize and I accept yours. I too feel your pain re the election. But my Dad, Sam, taught me the Serenity Prayer as a young lad and so I have been reciting it and hoping for the best. Remember this: things are never as bad as they seem and things are never as good as they appear. As an aside, I truly like the name "Brewer". The names of my children are Brian, Brooke, & Samantha. Samantha was supposed to be named "Brittany", but my Mom made my Wife and I an offer ($$$'s) we couldn't refuse, so she was named after my Dad. But I digress. Let's hope we beat Arkansas on Sat. Jack

@Jack Sorry for the over the top sarcasm. The election didn't go well by my books, so I headed over to my favorite blog...only to find out it's about politics. My apologies. And I had to wait in line for 2 hours while it rained.

Jack, I've voted in presidential elections in both IL and SC.
The wait time in IL averaged 5 minutes. In SC it was an hour.
I believe it's because the precincts there are much larger.

Jack that's awesome. Best story I've ever heard. Can you tell it again?

Ughh, Brewer: I just thought it ironic that my wait time was so short given the state I live in. If you read the article, voting times were part of the theme and so I thought I'd add my two cents. Great name by the way! What I like about it is it can either be a male or female name. Judging by your sarcastic wit, I'm guessing you're female all the way. Have a quality day. Geraldo

It took me 5 minutes to vote today from the time I got out of my car to the time I voted and got back in my car and left. This was about 12:30 today in Somerset County, NJ. There are never lines out here where I live which is in the most densely populated state in the Union.
