The constantly-updating bubble watch

Now that we’re just over 48 hours from the brackets being announced, it’s time to make this more hourly than daily. Check here for updates throughout Friday, Saturday and well, as long as it’s needed.
Right now we’re watching Virginia Tech throw a big scare into No. 1 North Carolina, and bubble teams everywhere.

Three days before Selection Sunday, and the bubble is shrinking.
I moved Oklahoma State off the bubble and into the tournament because of its upset of Oklahoma. And I’m pretty close to putting Michigan and Boston College in the bracket, as well.

Early Thursday afternoon, I had decided to boost South Carolina’s chances of making the NCAA tournament to 80 percent. Later in the day, I realized I needed to keep the team where I had it at 70.
